The City of Baldwin announced Monday it’s postponing the city’s annual Christmas tree lighting due to the weather.
The celebration, originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 1st, is now scheduled for Monday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. in Mitchell Gailey Park.

City Administrator Tommie Perry says the park is muddy after days of rain. The forecast calls for rain to continue through mid-week.
