You heard it right! It is Chick-fil-A Cornelia’s Back to School Sock Hop Bash with the Chick-fil-A cow on Saturday, August 31, located at 330 Furniture Plaza, Cornelia.
Christy Bowen, Chick-fil-A’s Talent and Marketing Director, said, “We are excited to host our first Back to School Sock Hop at Chick-fil-A Cornelia. It is going to be so much fun for everyone!”
The Sock Hop starts at 5 p.m. and will go until 7 p.m. “A great follow-up to the big game!” Bowen reminded.
Bowen hopes it will be a way to ease the transition for families as they work to get into the rhythm of the new school year.
There will be a DJ spinning classic 50s and 60s tunes. Some might even be your favorites.
You will want to wear your best 50s costume to compete for a Chick-fil-A prize pack. There will be hula hoops and the limbo game.
All Dine-in and Carry-out guests will receive a free milkshake with the purchase of a meal. If you haven’t tried the new seasonal Banana Pudding Milkshake, this would be a great opportunity to try it!
