Athens Street at West Ridge Road in Gainesville is now reopen after authorities investigated a shooting early Monday morning.
Police were on scene at the corner of Athens Street and West Ridge Road after a male was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Monday, Feb. 10.
A female who was also shot is in stable condition, according to police.
Drivers should use alternative routes as the investigation continues.
