Joshua M. Peck

Joshua M. Peck began his journalism career at the Ann Arbor News, then at Gannett Newspapers in Westchester County, New York, and has appeared in newspapers and magazines nationally, and in Pennsylvania and here in Georgia. In his “other life”, he is a P.R. professional for the legal industry, and has worked for some of the nation’s largest law firms. He has written speeches for such luminaries as Barbara Walters and New York City Mayor David Dinkins, and was once press secretary for a Congressional campaign out of White Plains, New York. Among his proudest moments were being arrested in pursuit of a story for the Michigan Daily, his college paper at the University of Michigan. Joshua has lived for the last four years in Clarkesville, where he and his wife, Elisa, live on a farm with goats, chickens, cats, and too many dogs. In his leisure time he is an amateur actor in local community theater Fun fact: He once took a batting lesson from Jackie Robinson. It didn't work.
