Area students inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Five North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) students were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for spring semester 2023.

NTHS is an educational, non-profit organization focused on recognizing and empowering students and instructors in career and technical education. With more than 100,000 secondary and postsecondary members, NTHS helps members achieve their educational and career goals while cultivating effective partnerships with leading business and industry.

NTHS spring 2023 inductees include Brian Brannon, networking specialist student of Cleveland, Ga.; David Bryant, accounting student of Alto, Ga.; Emily Linz, business technology student of Cornelia, Ga.; Jailyn McDaniel, early childhood care and education student of Alto, Ga.; and Nannie Sesser, accounting student of Cleveland, Ga.

“The National Technical Honor Society is a wonderful organization that gives North Georgia Technical College the opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of students achieving success in their academic programs,” said Blake Connor, NGTC biology instructor and NTHS adviser. “We are proud of the NGTC students who recently were inducted into our school’s charter for NTHS and look forward to all the future success each member will have in their professional careers, which will allow our community to grow and help future generations.”
