ARDEO: Agents seize cash, drugs and firearms in Mt. Airy

A three-month long drug investigation ended Friday with the arrest of a Mt. Airy man.

Deputies and agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) executed search warrants at David Chase Anderson’s home at 1675 Jess Kinney Road. During the search they found approximately five pounds of marijuana, 100 “hits” of LSD, and 159 THC vape cartridges, according to ARDEO’s Mitchell Posey. The cartridges are a schedule 1 narcotic. The estimated street value of the drugs is $30,370.
