November 11, 2016 is the deadline to enroll in the next session of Citizens Law Enforcement Academy. The Academy, offered through the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, begins Nov, 17.
Evening classes will be held once a week through January 12, 2017, with two Saturday classes scheduled during the session.
The Academy gives citizens an up close look at the day-to-day operations of the Sheriff’s Office.
Applications are now available at the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and the Habersham County Courthouse in Clarkesville. Qualified applicants will be notified via phone or email of their acceptance into the class.
