Final preparations are underway for the 6th Annual Apple Blossom BBQ Competition. The KCBS sanctioned BBQ event is expected to draw thousands to downtown Cornelia on Saturday.
There are 28 pro teams and 10 backyard teams competing this year. Organizers recommend you get their early to buy tickets for tastings by 11 a.m. A limited number will be sold and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
You may purchase your tickets at the ticket booth in the public parking lot near the intersection of Main Street and Hodges Street.
The event runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Activities will be spread throughout the downtown area.
