Anthony Graham “Tony” Woodall

Anthony Graham “Tony” Woodall, age 50 of Alto passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on August 17, 1965, he was the son of Kathleen Merck Woodall of Baldwin and the late Graham Woodall. Tony was very dedicated in his vocation having been currently employed for approximately eight years and thru his illness with South State Bank as a network systems engineer. He was also a former co-owner and operator of Omega Computer Systems and previously employed with Olympus Corporation. He was an active member of Level Grove Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and also a member of the church choir and men’s ensemble.

Tony was a 1983 graduate of Habersham Central High School. After graduation, he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in electrical engineering from Southern Poly Technical State University in Marietta. He was a very creative person who enjoyed woodworking, painting, drawing, hiking, but most importantly spending time his family.

He was also preceded in death, in addition to his father, by his father-in-law, Dr. Charles Story.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Heather Story Woodall of Alto; 16 year-old twin sons, Austin and Tyler Woodall of Alto; sister, Kathy Woodall Thomas of Baldwin; mother-in-law, Judith Story of Johnson City, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Todd & Kim Story of Suwanee, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, & close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Brian James officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in memory of Tony to the Tony Woodall Memorial Fund, PO Box 416, Cornelia, GA 30531, all donations will be used for his son’s college expenses.
