An accident Saturday on GA 365 near Hayes Chevrolet in Baldwin injured one man. James Lester of Alto was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville after he rear-ended a tow truck, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The driver of the Ford F-650, Noe Rodriguez of Alto, made a U-turn and started traveling north on GA 365. He attempted to turn right into a gas station. Lester was following too closely and the 2014 Nissan Sentra he was driving struck the truck. An ambulance transported him to the hospital with apparent minor injuries.
Rodriguez and two passengers in the truck were not injured.
