A man was injured in an accidental shooting Thursday afternoon near Cornelia.
Units from Habersham County Emergency Services and the sheriff’s office responded around 3:45 p.m. to a reported accidental shooting at a home on Memory Hill Circle off Level Grove Road.
According to Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore, EMS transported the man to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
“That individual was the only person involved and the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is not investigating,” says Moore.
