Georgia State Patrol is investigating an accident that sent an adult and two small children to a local hospital by ambulance Thursday morning.
According to Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore, the accident occurred on GA 105/Cannon Bridge Road at Smith Loop Road outside Demorest. He says a 911 caller alerted dispatchers to the wreck around 7:55 a.m. on July 18.
Habersham County Emergency Services and deputies responded.
Firefighters used ropes to descend the steep embankment and reach the vehicle, which ended up across a field.
State troopers have not released details of the wreck or any names. Now Habersham is waiting on additional information from them. Check back here for updates.
