A two vehicle accident in the northbound lanes of GA 365 near Hayes car dealership in Alto impacted traffic Saturday morning.
The crash was reported around 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 18. Initial reports indicate one of the vehicles involved may have caught on fire after impact.
The northbound lanes were blocked for nearly two hours while first responders investigated and cleared the scene. The highway was reopened at around 11:30 a.m. There is no report of injuries at this time or what caused the crash.
Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident. Now Habersham has reached out to authorities for more information and will update this article as details become available..
