Absentee voting begins September 20th

After more than a year of political campaigning, primaries and conventions, it all comes down to this. Voters will soon start casting ballots in the November 8th General Election.

While most local elections were decided during the GOP primary in May, the presidential race is likely to draw higher than normal numbers of voters to the polls this November. As always, Habersham County Election Supervisor Laurel Ellison encourages voters to “VOTE EARLY!” She also urges voters to make sure you know your polling location if you wait until Election Day to vote.

You may verify your polling precinct location on the My Voter Page of the Georgia Secretary of State’s website at  https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do
