Funeral services were held Sunday for a Demorest man killed in a double shooting in Alto. 33-year old Jesse Robert Looney died April 19 in a shooting on Garrison Road. 56-year old Tommy Savage of Alto is charged in his murder.

According to jail records, Savage is charged with murder, felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault. 26-year old Brandon Stephens was wounded in the incident.

Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting. The GBI is investigating.
