Three Arrested on Drug Charges in Alto

Law enforcement says tips from the community lead them to suspects

Deputies with the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) arrested three people on drug charges in Alto on Tuesday.

ARDEO issued a press release saying officers acted on multiple tips from the community. The investigation lead agents to a residence located at 638 Herrin Mill Road where they say they recovered suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale, suspected marijuana and suspected drug paraphernalia.

34-year old Christopher Allison and 34-year old Rebecca Patterson, both of Alto, were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce and possession of drug related objects.

Also arrested was 59-year old Randall Adams of Dahlonega. He’s charged with possession of methamphetamine.

All three were transported to the Habersham County Detention Center.
