At the time of Dixon’s arrest, Habersham County Sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Stein said the abuse occurred over a period of two years. “It was first reported to the Sheriff’s Office and was under investigation,” said Stein, “then it was also disclosed to staff at school.”
Dixon was arrested on December 10, 2015. Sgt. Stein said, since then, other alleged victims have come forward.
Dixon is scheduled to be arraigned on April 21.
