The GHSA officially announced the release of every high school football team’s 2016 schedule Monday morning.
The 2016 season will officially kick in on August 19, which is often referred to as “Week 0.” Teams that choose to play on the 19th are permitted a second bye week in their schedule. Teams like Habersham Central, White County, Banks County and Towns County have strategically used one of their two byes on the week prior to opening region play.
