Kilgore Running Against Evans for Clarkesville City Council Seat: No One Runs in Alto

Former Clarkesville mayoral candidate Robert “Bobby” Kilgore is making a bid for city council. Kilgore qualified last week to run in the special election to fill the Post 1 Clarkesville City Council seat previously held by Mayor Barrie Aycock.

Aycock resigned her seat in January to run for mayor and fill the unexpired term of Terry Greene. Kilgore ran against and lost to Greene in 2013. This time he faces opposition from former Clarkesville City Councilwoman Tina Courson Evans.
