The City of Cornelia will be Recycling Christmas trees on January 9, 2016 at Lowes in Cornelia from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.Bring your unwanted Christmas trees by and the City will chip them for you. You may also take trees to the Habersham/Cornelia Recycling Center located at 507 Nicolon Drive to have them chipped there.
Cornelia residents may leave their Christmas trees curbside but officials say it could take several days before crews get around to chipping them.
Please make sure to remove all lights and stands from trees before getting them chipped.
