Tallulah Falls School seniors enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the Supreme Court of Georgia during a November visit. Justice Harold Melton spoke with the seniors, who asked questions about the workings of the judicial branch of Georgia’s government. Justice Melton also provided the seniors with advice to help them be successful in college.
Afterwards, eleven TFS seniors participated in a mock oral argument in the courtroom. Seven of the seniors assumed the role as justices and the rest argued both sides of the case.
Accompanying the seniors on the trip were TFS faculty members Dallas Barron, Terry Bogan, and Kent Woerner, and TFS guidance counselor Bobby Hammond.
