Introducing ‘Camp Crafter’: A hands-on summer series inspiring creativity in kids

(NowHabersham.com)

This summer, Now Habersham is happy to launch Camp Crafter—a new weekly video series designed to spark creativity, imagination, and hands-on fun for kids of all ages. Whether your child is an artist in the making or just looking for something fun to do during the break, Camp Crafter offers easy-to-follow craft tutorials and creative projects perfect for summer days at home, camp, or daycare.

Each episode features step-by-step instructions for simple, engaging crafts using everyday materials—no expensive supplies required! From DIY shrinky dinks and leaf printing, to homemade hackeysacks, Camp Crafter encourages kids to explore their artistic side while developing fine motor skills and creative confidence.

Hosted by middle school art teacher Corinne Mullen, Camp Crafter is all about disconnecting from devices and reconnecting with each other. It brings the community together through creativity and gives parents and caregivers fresh ideas to keep young hands and minds active.

New episodes premiere each Tuesday throughout the summer on NowHabersham.com, YouTube, and our social media channels. Every project is designed to be fun, family-friendly, and flexible for a range of ages and skill levels.

For our camp craft on June 24, you’ll need:

  • scissors
  • popsicle sticks
  • yarn
  • hot glue (optional)

Corinne bought her popsicle sticks and yarn at Walmart for $3!

We invite you to join us and our sponsors, Hayes Chevrolet and The Patel Family McDonald’s, on this creative journey. Share your children’s creations at #CampCrafter and be part of our growing community of young creators.

Let’s make this summer one to remember—one craft at a time!
