Roger Anthony Allen, age 56 of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 07, 2015.
Born in Habersham County, Georgia on April 07, 1959, Roger was a son of Claudette Humphries Allen of Demorest & the late Bueman Guy Allen. He was self-employed as a long haul truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Allen and a sister, Rosette Allen.
Survivors in addition to his mother include daughter, Larissa Allen Lester of Clarkesville; son, Nick Allen of Clarkesville; sister, Renice Allen of Demorest; granddaughter, Luci Layne Lester of Clarkesville; and special cousin, Kelly Howard of Gainesville.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleveland.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday.
