
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle wreck that injured several people Tuesday evening in Demorest.
Emergency personnel responded to the crash at GA 105 and Cap Fry Road around 7:15 p.m. on April 30. The wreck involved a pickup and two passenger cars.
Initial reports indicated three individuals sustained injuries. Habersham EMS transported two patients to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for evaluation.
The roadway was shut down for nearly two hours as responders worked the scene and cleared debris.
Habersham County Emergency Services, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, and Demorest Police Department assisted in the response and coordinated traffic detours in the area.
Authorities have not said what caused the crash and have not released any names. Now Habersham has reached out the Georgia State Patrol for more information. Check back here for updates.
