(Franklin Springs, GA) – The search is underway for a 19-year old man wanted for rape and false imprisonment in Franklin County. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the charges against Anthony Elijah Jones stem from a September 5, 2015 incident at Emanuel College in Franklin Springs.
Jones is described as a white male, six feet tall, weighing 180 pounds with long, reddish hair and blue/green eyes.
Authorities believe Jones may be in the metro Atlanta or Gainsville area. They say he’s known to frequent the Kennesaw area of Cobb County and the Lake Lanier area of Forsyth County.
The GBI, Franklin Springs Police Department and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
