Roads Less Traveled: Get Outside!

What better way to spend a crisp fall weekend in the mountains than getting outside enjoying the leaves.

Fall color is peaking across much of North Georgia right now, with loads of reds/oranges/yellows to be found. Areas around Brasstown Bald, Dahlonega, Cleveland, Clayton, and Cornelia all have quite a bit of color showing now, with higher elevations already past peak.

Get out and enjoy it this weekend before rain and wind start doing their damage on Sunday! Feel free to share any pics you take of the fall color with us at [email protected] or [email protected].

I’ve been all over the southern Appalachians the past couple of weeks, and here are just a few photos of what I’ve been able to find. Enjoy!
