
Zachary David Johnson passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on June 20, 1982, in Salisbury, North Carolina, Zachary was a man known for his deep faith and commitment to his family and community.
Zachary was a devoted member of Christ Fellowship Church in Toccoa, where he found both spiritual nourishment and a vibrant community that reflected his values. His passion for life was evident in his many interests, including fishing, hunting, and being an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. Zachary cherished his time spent engaging in Bible studies with friends, reflecting his desire for growth and connection through faith.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer Nicole Johnson, and his four daughters: Madison Wynveen, Ilyana Eldridge, Ember Johnson, and Aurora Johnson. Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Davelyn Kiebel Black, and siblings Greg Johnson, Amanda Vail, Katie Johnson, Berguittia Marshall, and Hannah Johnson. Zachary’s legacy will also continue through his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will remember him for his warmth and kindness.
Zachary was preceded in death by his father, Dean Leroy Johnson, and his stepfather, William H. Black. His memory is also honored by the loss of two infant children and his brothers Shawn Johnson, Charles Wilkins, and William Bruce Marshall.
Zachary David Johnson will be remembered for his loving nature, strong faith, and unwavering commitment to family and friends. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
