A woman was arrested following a lengthy drug trafficking investigation in Lumpkin County late last week, according to GBI.
Crystal Roman, 53, of Dahlonega, was taken into custody and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Her arrest follows a several-month-long investigation led by local and state authorities.
Last week, agents executed a search warrant at Roman’s residence in Dahlonega. During the search, authorities allegedly discovered and seized suspected fentanyl along with over 200 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside the home.
Roman was arrested at the scene and transported to the Lumpkin County Jail.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
