Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who could be in the North Georgia/North Carolina area.
The Clayton Police Department recently advised members of the public to be on the lookout for Joseph Elzie Haynes, who is wanted for felony theft and fleeing charges in Rabun County. Originally from Oregon, Hayes has been known to frequent the areas of Franklin, NC, Hiawassee, GA, and Carrollton, GA, according to authorities.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is asked contact authorities immediately by calling 911.
