Two semi-trucks became stuck due to severe roads along 441, causing several accidents on the Banks County side of Baldwin Friday, Jan. 10, according to officials.
No injuries were reported, according to Banks County Fire Chief Steve Nichols.
“…local public safety agencies have responded to numerous motor vehicle crashes due to the road conditions,” the Baldwin Police Department said in a statement in Facebook Friday. “State and local road crews are doing their best to maintain the roads but cannot keep up with all roads that need treatment.”
Public safety officials continue to urge drivers not to attempt to travel on the roadways unless absolutely necessary.
