The Lady Indians were within a point after the first, but a scoreless second quarter played a role in the 66-33 loss to #1 Athens Christian on Tuesday.
The visitors then outscored #9-ranked TFS 22-6 in the third to take a commanding lead into the final period.
Breelyn Wood had a team-high 15 points, while Marian Nino had six. Millie Holcomb added four, while LB Kafsky, Haygen James, and Lia Sanjur all had three apiece. Linda White capped the scoring with two.
TFS is now 3-5 overall and starts out region play 0-1.
