Two Cleveland Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Two men face charges after being arrested for allegedly selling drugs from their apartment in Cleveland.

According to Mitchell Posey of the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, authorities found methamphetamine hidden on 53-year-old Jeffrey Queen after he was arrested by the Georgia Department of Community Supervision. Posey says a subsequent investigation by Cleveland Police and ARDEO revealed Queen and another man, 50-year old Dennis Queen, were selling meth from an apartment at 268 Boulevard Street.

Officers executed a search warrant on Oct. 9 and say they found more methamphetamine and the prescription drug Percocet at the residence.

Jeffery and Dennis Queen were both arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, use of a communication facility in facilitating the commission of a felony, and crossing the guard line with drugs.

The two were taken to the White County Detention Center.
