Funeral services for Theda Marie Mitchell Moore, age 91, of Clarkesville, will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015, at 2:00 pm, from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Frank Bearden and Rev. Grady Walden. Burial will follow Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Mrs. Moore passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
Born in Barren, Arkansas on March 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Leona Copeland Mitchell. She was the wife of the late Carel Moore. She was a member of Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law: Judith Anne & Julian A. Garrett, of Clarkesville; Two grandchildren: Stephen A. (Donna) Garrett, Clarkesville; and Tamara L. (Jonathan) Johnson, Easley, South Carolina; and five great-grandchildren.
