James Otis Crocker, 88, of Greenville, widower of Patricia “Patsy” Berry Crocker, died Monday, October 12, 2015.
Born in Habersham County, GA, he was a son of the late William Tyson Crocker, Sr., and Artha Simmons Crocker.
Otis served in the United States Army and retired from Norfolk Southern Railway. He was a member of Berea First Baptist Church and Masonic Sam Poe Lodge #284.
He is survived by a daughter, Pam Crocker Sheriff; two grandchildren, Brooke and Matthew Sheriff; and two brothers, Robert Crocker (Latrelle), and Curtis Crocker (Jeanettie).
In addition to his loving wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Crocker; three brothers; and two sisters.
The visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church Welcome Center, with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
