Elijah Chase “Eli” Rosser, age 20, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, in Dahlonega, GA.
Born April 25, 2004, he was the son of Amy and Sean Maher and the late Michael Jeremy Rosser.
Eli was a student at the University of North Georgia, and was in ROTC. He was a member of the Boar’s Head Brigade, and was part of the Leadership Development Program (LDP) and the Color Guard. He was involved in many other parts of the Dahlonega Campus, including serving as an orientation leader. He was a junior international affairs and political science major. Eli was contracted in the United States Army, and was a member of The Pointe Church.
Family members include his parents, Amy and Sean Maher, of Toccoa; brothers, Noah (Kelsey) Rosser, Zachary Rosser and Greyson Rosser; sister, Lexy Maher; maternal grandparents, Doris Holbrooks and the late Mike Jordan, and Edward and Wanda Holbrooks; paternal grandparents, Karen and Mike Williams, Dale and Debbie Rosser, and Barry and Sandra Maher; girlfriend, Holly Wesley; niece, Everlee Rosser; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his father, Eli was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Jordan.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at The Pointe Church at 2 o’clock on Monday, November 4, 2024, with Zachary Rosser and Spence Fuller officiating. Military honors will be provided by Stephens County High School JROTC Color Guard.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Noah Rosser, Greyson Rosser, Landon Collins, Blake Dills, Ben Cantrell and Daniel Fuller. Jacob Holbrook, Jared Holbrook, and Gavin Wilkes will serve as honorary pallbearers.
