A vehicle fire early Wednesday morning in Cleveland destroyed a pickup truck and caused some traffic delays. The fire was on the Appalachian Parkway at Highway 115 West.

The incident was reported around 6:30 a.m.

Seth Weaver, with the Cleveland Fire Department, said when crews arrived on the scene, they found the burning truck attached to a car hauler with two vehicles on it.

The fire was mostly contained to the pickup, but one of the vehicles on the trailer was also damaged.

Cleveland firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. Weaver said no one was injured.

White County Fire Service was asked to assist, but the call was canceled while they were en route.
