Two arrested on drug and gun charges in Rabun County

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects on multiple drug and gun charges in Tiger.

According to a Sheriff’s Office press release, deputies conducted an investigation on Wednesday, October 23 and executed a search warrant at 85 Strawberry Lane in Tiger. During the execution of the warrant, deputies confiscated substantial quantities of illegal drugs, firearms, and arrested Robert Arthur Sir II, 41, and Deborah Johnson Sir, 69, both of Tiger.

Robert Sir II was arrested on three outstanding probation warrants. He now faces multiple drug charges including:

  • Trafficking Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Schedule I and II controlled substances
  • Possession of Marijuana and Cocaine with intent to distribute
  • Four counts of possession of firearms during the commission of a felony
  • Four counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Deborah Sir is charged with:

  • Trafficking Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and Ecstacy/MDMA
  • Possession of Marijuana and Cocaine with intent to distribute.
  • Additional counts of possession of Schedule I and II controlled substances
  • Four counts of possession of firearms during the commission of a felony

Both suspects were transported and booked into the Rabun County Detention Center. No bond was set for Robert Sir II and a $10,000 bond was set for Deborah Sir.
