The driver of a 2000 Silverado Chevrolet attempted to avoid hitting a deer early Saturday, October 19 which resulted in a single-vehicle rollover wreck.
Traffic on New Liberty Road north of Clarkesville was blocked temporarily.
The accident occurred around 8:40 a.m. near the Historic Highway 441 North intersection.
According to the report issued by the Georgia State Patrol, Brice Austin was driving north on New Liberty when he swerved to avoid a deer, causing him to cross over the centerline and traveled off the road. The GSP stated the truck rollover to its top.
No injuries were reported.
The Georgia State Patrol and Habersham EMS were on hand to assist.
