If you like golf and love animals (or vice versa) and want to help the Habersham County Animal Shelter, here’s your chance. The shelter is sponsoring a golf tournament next Monday, July 29, to raise money to care for homeless and unwanted pets.
Habersham’s “Fore” The Community Golf Tournament will be held at Apple Mountain Golf Course in Hollywood, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The cost is $500 per team or $125 per player and includes breakfast and lunch. There will be door prizes and a silent auction.
Tournament organizers say each player will get one Mulligan, one Tee Buster, and one toss during the tournament.
