Two tractor-trailers and hundreds of tires were engulfed in flames early Wednesday morning in Hall County. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The fire broke out at about 5:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of West White Road, according to a news release from Hall County Fire Rescue.
When firefighters arrived, they found the vehicles and approximately 500 tires burning, says HCFR Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.
“Due to the size of the fire and the amount of tires burning, the call was upgraded to a residential assignment, which sent additional engines to the scene,” says Ledsinger.
Firefighters aerial apparatus to attack the flames from above.
“No one was found inside or outside the trailers,” says Ledsinger. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
