The 10th Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Golf Tournament will be played on Saturday, October 10, at the Rabun County Golf Course. The tournament is being held in memory of Frank Cathey, a former North Georgia Technical College Foundation Board Trustee. Proceeds from the event will provide a $1,000 scholarship for a student from Rabun County to attend NGTC.
The Tournament will begin at 10 a.m.; the cost is $50 per individual or $90 per team. Hole sponsorships are available for a $200 donation which includes two entry fees. Awards will be given per flight, and prizes will be for best scores. In addition, Duvall Ford has committed a free car for the winner of the special Hole-in-One Contest.
