Volleyball Drops Straight Set 3-0 Decision to Lakeland

Atlanta, GA – The Piedmont College Volleyball team was unable to get an offensive attack going against Lakeland College leading to a 3-0 loss for the Lady Lions who move to 4-3 this season. The Lady Lions kept it close in the first two sets falling 25-19 & 25-22 before a decisive third set by the Muskies 25-14 to end it.

Piedmont was only able to record 19 kills in the match while the Muskies had a pair of players combine for 24 kills. The Muskies had a total of 45 kills as a team with both Hannah Scherer and Allison Errthum recording 12 kills as Scherer hit .455 while Errthum recorded a .429 attack percentage. Piedmont as a team was only able to hit .069 with TAYLOR CRAMSEY recording 4 kills.

EMILY PETERS had 12 assists and also earned two kills with a .400 attack percentage while adding four digs. Eight players had kills in the game as Cramsey led the way followed by MALLORY LEARY, KATELYN DURMIRE and KAITLYN LOESEL each earning three.
