The #8-ranked Lady Indians won their third straight contest in a 7-1 final at Athens Christian on Friday night in the pouring rain.

The first strike came from Bailey Crumley, assisted by LB Kafsky. A minute later, the roles reversed as Crumley assisted Kafsky for the 2-0 advantage. Tessa Foor later scored on another Kafsky assist, then Iva Ristic made it 4-0 on a ball from Lily Desta.

Up 4-0 at the break, TFS was just getting started. After the home team got one back to open the second half, Crumley added her second goal. Josie Chesser made it 6-1, and Kafsky capped the scoring on an assist from Adrijana Albijanic. Sarah Lundy showed out defensively, as did Kyndal Anderson between the posts.

“It was pouring rain and the girls did such a good job controlling the ball,” says coach Erin Jimenez. “This was the best game I’ve seen the younger girls play.”

The Lady Indians advance to 8-3 overall and 7-1 in region play.
