FBI warns of recurring scams

The FBI has released a fraud flyer to inform the public about the various schemes targeting individuals, including recycling and recurring scams.

The free flyer, titled “FBI Fraud Flyer,” was issued by the FBI and iC3.gov, and it warns the public about the ever-evolving threat landscape and the importance of being vigilant against falling victim to a scam.

“If you or a loved one were solicited through a computer pop-up, social media site, dating site, text, email, or phone call by someone you have never met, and answer “YES” to one of the following questions, you may have been targeted by a SCAM,” reads an excerpt of the flyer.
