Students and teachers at North Habersham Middle School recently experimented with Google Cardboard and visited the Eiffel Tower and several places around the world.
Google Cardboard is a new virtual reality platform developed by Google that allows students to take field trips to places around the world, go inside volcanoes, experience virtual reality games, and much more. Students can build their own cardboard viewer and add a mobile phone.
Applications can be downloaded for free on a mobile phone and many more are being developed for use with schools.
