A grass fire on an embankment along GA 365 North disrupted traffic in Cornelia Wednesday afternoon.
At 4:10 p.m., firefighters from Habersham County, Cornelia, and Baldwin responded to the fire between Old Cleveland Road and the GA 385 (Cornelia) exit.
Fire trucks operating in the right lane of GA 365 caused traffic to shift to one lane, backing up northbound traffic for several miles.
Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore says the cause of the fire is undetermined.
