The qualifying period for Georgia’s May 21 General Primary Election begins in less than two weeks. The qualifying period runs from March 4 through 8.
In Habersham County, Republican candidates must qualify at the Norton Agency in Clarkesville located at 855 Washington Street. Democratic candidates will qualify at the new Habersham County Elections Office at 403 Habersham County Shopping Center off the Highway 441 Bypass in Cornelia.
Qualifying hours at both locations are Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – Noon.
