Troy Dean Lovell, age 59, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Demorest, Georgia on December 11, 1964, he was a son of Rebecca Ann Ellenburg Lovell & the late Gene “Buck” Lovell. Troy was a graduate of Habersham Central High School, Class of 1983 and a Martial Arts Instructor for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed antiquing and outdoor camping. Troy loved everyone, always giving of his time and efforts to help others. He was truly the last “Spartan.” Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his life-companion, Lisa Brown; children, Ashley & Christopher Smith; Josh Lovell & his fiancé, Janny Phasavang; mother & companion, Rebecca Ann Ellenburg Lovell & John Harkins; brothers & sisters-in-law, Scott & Robin Lovell; Chris & Laurie Lovell; sister & brother-in-law, Teri & Larry Elrod; Lisa’s children, Leslie Cedillo & Juan Guerrero, Lori Brown, & Cody Brown; grandchildren, Alyssa, Avery, Harper, Kyran, Zalice, Leiloni, Brayden, Brinlee, Braylen, Lincoln, Payslee, Eliana, & Alicia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
All family and friends are requested to meet at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the graveside.
