Maryville, TN – In just their second game of the 2015 season, the Piedmont College women’s soccer team picked up another shutout win besting Birmingham-Southern College 2-0 Saturday in their first game at the Maryville College Fall Invitational.
For the Lady Lions, it was TORI GILLETT’s corner kick score that sparked the win as she served the set piece straight to the top of the mixer before it curled in off the hands of Panther keeper Ansley Tomlin. For Gillett, it’s the second goal of her 2015 season as she also scored in the season opener vs. Agnes Scott on Tuesday, a 7-0 win for PC.
