The biggest party in Clarkesville: Mardi Gras 2024

It's that time of year again - Mardi Gras 2024. Clarkesville's Main Street Director Colby Moore says this year promises to be one of the best.

February 10 promises to be an event to remember in Clarkesville at the Habersham Event Center Old Clarkesville Mill. It’s that time of year again – Mardi Gras 2024. Clarkesville’s Main Street Director Colby Moore says this year promises to be one of the best.

“There will be dinner. We have a Cajun menu this year which we are very excited about,” Moore talked about the evening. “Of course, there will be dancing with a live DJ.”

The night starts at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m. Raffle Tickets are always a highlight of the evening, and Moore hinted that there will be big-ticket live auction opportunities. The proceeds for the evening go to Main Street Facade and Sign Grant. This is a beautification project which has funded 73 projects for $70,000.00 with a 50/50 matching Grant.

Sponsored tables are already being secured. The King table is $600 and there are 10 tables available. The Queen table is $500.00 with 8 of those to purchase. Group tables may be bought at $375.00 with individual tickets sold at $50.00. Tickets will go on sale next week. Moore says they will sell out fast so if you are interested in going to the “biggest” party in Clarkesville, you will want to buy your tickets early.

Tickets can be purchased at the Clarkesville City Hall. Moore reminded, “Be Quick! It is lots of fun and the place everyone wants to be. Make sure you secure a ticket!”
